100 word challenge

Farmer brown and his kids are going to go on a 4 wheel drive trip up around the mountains.
He wants to cook up some sausages at the top where the sun is shining and there is snow on the ground.
The car is loaded but there is one thing that needs to fit in. The barbeque!.
Just how do we fit it in though? Farmer brown tried strapping it to the roof but it was so heavy
he didn't want it to fall through the roof and knock the kids out. He grabbed the trailer that was in the
shed and shoved it in there yay it fits. And off they went.

  1. I enjoyed your story. Farmer Brown came up with a practical solution in the end.

  2. I think Farmer Brown needs a portable BBQ, but he's lucky that he has a trailer to use for his big BBQ.
What an imaginative way to use your prompt this week. Well done, Evah.

  3. Silly Farmer Brown. Why didn't he think of the trailer in the first place!
I wonder Evah if you realise that you have begun your writing in the present tense and then moved to the past - a little confusing for the reader.
